December holidays are over but like the most of North American States, Atlanta still sees snowy days in January. What better way to start the new year is to travel. Get your kids or your crew going to Atlanta. Shopping is a good all idea, but when you come in winter, you’ll seem to notice those eyes tempted by the outdoor fun.

If you come this January 9-18 2010 or usually the second week of January, people celebrate the King Week in respect to the birth of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his views on equality. Kids would also love a studio tour of World of Coca-Cola. Consider the highlight of your trip in Atlanta by unzipping your way to the largest aquarium in the world – The Georgia Aquarium. It sits on the Northwest
Atlanta perfect while you are beginning an attachment at downtown. Look at the sea creatures from a distance or dive in, suit your self in various tours.

Winter activities in Atlanta are limited not like in Colorado, engage on Ice skating at Centennial Olympic Park downtown, this is usually open starting November to early January make sure you don’t come late. Another skating rink is located at the Pavilion in Olde Town Conyers, this rink is open until January 21. parents would usually treat their kids to an annual children’s concert called Dekalb Symphony Orchestra.
